Casa Florentina is set within an extensive shady garden offering complete privacy, and with its own private salinated swimming pool*,  hard surface tennis court., and barbeque area.   It is conveniently situated only minutes drive away from the famous beaches, shops and restaurants of Vale do Lobo and Quinta Do Lago.

 Four of the bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms.     The fifth bedroom with bunk beds  has use of the downstairs shower room. The master bedroom has a king sized bed, en-suite bathroom,  a ceiling fan, and patio doors leading onto the balcony over looking the pool terrace.  A second bedroom has a king sized bed and access onto the pool terrace.  Two twin bedrooms have en suite bathrooms and the downstairs twin has windows out onto the pool area.  There are three bathrooms with showers and baths, and two with only showers.  

There is a well equipped  kitchen with a double oven, micro wave oven, washing machine, fridge freezer, 6 ring gas hob, and enough of everything to comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests.  A spacious and comfortable living room with a dining area and doors leading to both the shaded terrace, pool gardens and separate barbecue terrace.

The Area

The Algarve is blessed with superb beaches, unspoilt countryside and countless restaurants for alfresco eating.  For the sporting minded there are a wealth of activities such as watersports and sailing, tennis and world renowned golf courses.  With more sunshine hours than anywhere else in Europe, clean air and sea and a pleasant variation in the seasons, the Algarve climate bears close resemblance to that of California.

Quinta do Lago is a spectacular unspoiled area of over 1700 acres of natural pine forest, grassland and lakes. The area includes part of the Ria Formosa nature reserve and is fronted by a 10km stretch of golden sands. There are four golf courses in Quinta do Lago and two more in the adjoining area of Vale de Lobo. On the lake there is sailing, a windsurfing school and watersports. Other amenities include an equestrian centre, a golf driving range and a good choice of tennis facilities including two professional coaching centres. There are several routes to the beach but the most memorable is across a long wooden bridge across the nature reserve: on the other side is a good restaurant, golden dunes and a very long beach.

Within a three minute walk there is a professional tennis centre with childrens clubs, great coaching and a bar.   There are six golf courses all within a five minute drive.
